CONSULTATION & PATCH TEST REQUIRED PRIOR TO FIRST TREATMENT
It's a clinically proven, completely safe and effective treatment, which works by targeting the melanin (dark pigment) in the hair, which is converted into heat. This heat breaks down the hair follicle, reducing the opportunity for any re-growth and changes the entire structure of the follicle itself.

A full consultation and patch test is required to ascertain your suitability for the IPL treatment, before booking your first IPL treatment. It usually takes 30 mins and costs £30 non refundable fee which is redeemable against your first IPL treatment.

Does it hurt?
The sensation varies from person to person. No anaesthetic is required and many clients describe the discomfort as a warming sensation similar to the feeling one after a day on the beach. Hair removal and treatment of pigment and acne are really quite comfortable treatments. Treatment of blood vessels typically feels like a rubber band flicking the skin, followed by a feeling of gentle warmth.
Are there any possible sides effects?
A mild erythema/redness can appear immediately after the treatment or a few hours to a few days after. We recommend using pure Aloe Vera gel to soothe the skin. When treating areas of pigmentation it is normal for you to experience darkening of pigment in the treated area in the next few days following the treatment
